People have wanted since ancient times to fly. By performing aircraft which are now available to people, inventors have been working for years to come. The first flying machine was invented by brothers Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier French. Their balloon full of hot air above Paris flew first in 1783.
Now about 100 years, people have tried to build airplanes, but their cars fell. Then, in 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright brothers Americans have tried newly built aircraft, which flew only 12 seconds a distance of 36 meters. It was the first self-propelled aircraft managed to fly control. Their plane was equipped with a small gasoline tank, the pilot sat in the wings lying on a maneuver where the plane.
In 1947 he built the first airplane to fly at a speed faster than sound – 1196 km / h, the plane was piloted by Chuck Yeager American. He baptized the plane named after his wife Charming Glanis.
In 1986, Americans Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager made the first time around the world on a plane without having to power it with fuel. Their plane had wings very long, the two pilots sat huddled in a cabin slightly larger than a phone booth. Their flight lasted 9 days.
The first passenger aircraft, Douglas DC-3 Dakota flew first in 1935, could carry only 21 people.
